Happy Valentine’s Day Week to everyone out there! To celebrate, enjoy a special 99 Shot featuring a couple vampires in love. (Unfortunately, the BlockHeadZ aren’t observing the holiday this year due to a lack of significant others.)
There are a couple new-ish releases available from Silver Gecko Publishing this week. The novelette BEDRIDDEN is now available as a stand-alone book on Kindle. A standalone remastered audiobook is also in progress and should drop in the next week or two, so keep your eyes out for it.
BEDRIDDEN was originally available in audiobook form on the Fat Guys at the Movies podcast feed, and later included in the anthology 13 MORE TURNS on Kindle and as an audiobook. Now you can purchase it on its own.
If you don’t want to purchase it outright, members of Kindle Unlimited can read the Kindle version of any of my books for free, included as part of the service. Those with Amazon Music Unlimited can listen to any of my audiobooks by asking Alexa to play any title. Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers get one free audiobook each month as part of their subscription.
If you have either Kindle Unlimited or Amazon Music Unlimited, these are great ways to support independent authors. It doesn’t cost you anything, and the content creators are paid a royalty on the number of pages read or the amount listened to in the audiobook.
Speaking of audiobooks, in addition to developing an audiobook for GOBBLE, the audiobook of MOVIE TRUTH: REAL ANSWERS TO REEL QUESTIONS (already available on Kindle with an upcoming paperback) is still chugging along. More updates soon...

VAMPIRE VALENTINE by Kevin Carr
Vlad grinned, sliding the elaborate gift box across the stone table.
“For you, my love,” he said in a thick Romanian accent.
Wilhemina smiled, exposing her sharp, ivory fangs. She snatched up the box and tore through the wrapping with her sharp nails.
When she looked inside, she gasped.
“Oh darling,” she replied with a shriek. “You me gave your heart!”
Wilhemina snatched up the organ, still slick with blood, and took a bite.
“Don’t be silly,” Vlad said lovingly. “That’s not mine.”
He paused for a moment, and continued: “But the true owner doesn’t need it anymore.”
