THE FLESH REVOLT by Kevin Carr

Rather than developing “mind control,” Nolan perfected the process of “cellular control.” And now he could test bypassing consciousness to a body.

But when he turned on the signal, the cells fought back.

The signal was focused on a petri dish, but it also reached his own flesh. The revolt began with a tingling in his skin, but soon it began to fight against him.

Nolan tried to reach the shut-off switch, but his flesh refused.

Was it aware that forced cellular control was dangerous? The answer came when the skin split and slid off Nolan’s twitching body.
