A rogue planet made its way through our solar system last year. Fortunately, it did not run into anything, but its massive gravity impacted Earth’s orbit. So now there are 25 hours in a day.

And the governments of the world reacted:

The US Congress declared a nine-hour work day.

Great Britain opted for a second tea time.

Finland got to be happy for another hour in the day.

China allowed children an additional hour of work.

North Korea got one more hour of darkness.

France declared a further six weeks of paid vacation.

And not much else changed.
