Beware! It’s Monday the 13th! This is almost as bad as Friday the 13th, except you don’t even get a weekend out of the deal.

The biggest challenge in the new year (aside from slimming down by about 165 pounds) is actually getting started again. Throughout the previous year - and especially over the past three months - it’s been all go in my life. Now that things have settled, the problem I have is stepping on the gas again.

But things are moving slowly forward, and the dust is settling out of my gears.

One new project for this year that you will see in the fall is the first paperback publication of BlockHeadZ. It will be due out around September and will give you a deeper background into the bizarre little world in which these characters live.

Also look for some more audiobooks being produced this year to catch up to the content already available in Kindle and paperback. THE EXTERMINATORS by Kevin Carr

Brad had reached his limit with the bugs! The landlord wouldn’t do anything, and the bugs were everywhere! So Brad called the exterminators himself.

When Brad opened the door to let the exterminators in, they looked horrified. Brad bellowed gruffly, “I’ve got bugs! I’ve got bugs bad! They’re everywhere!”

Suddenly, the exterminators grabbed his arms and wrestled him to the ground. Brad opened his mouth and felt a wave of cockroaches scuttle out. Then suddenly his flesh split open like a piñata, spilling gallons of bugs, covered in his thick, red blood-gravy.

“Christ!” an exterminator screamed. “They’re everywhere!”
