Happy Spring! It is officially time for warmer weather (if you like that sort of thing). I enjoy it to a degree (no pun intended), but I don’t quite look forward to the blistering hot weather of the Ohio summer. Still, I’m happy to have a little more sunlight and a nice, cool breeze in the evening.

4.5 Billion Years Flat by Kevin Carr

Depressed, Benefactor-Prime turned off the monitor. “Well, that’s 4.5 billion years wasted,” he said.

“Are we abandoning them?” Benefactor-Elder asked.

“I don’t see why not,” Benefactor-Prime replied.

“But they had such potential. Self governance… intelligence… freedom.

“I know, but those are only a limited few,” Benefactor-Prime said. “Of the rest, a significant portion of the population insists the world is flat. Even more reject vaccine science. And these individuals think they’re the smarter ones for such beliefs.”

“Should I prepare an asteroid launch?” Benefactor-Elder asked.

“Don’t waste the energy. These nearly-naked apes will never get off that rock again.”
