As a cold snap descends upon a chunk of the country (which includes the home of yours truly), we prepare for another week while we try – as Prince once put it – “to get through this thing called life.”
The edits to the new novel THE ECHOES OF THE JEKYLL HOUSE is fully underway after a mild holiday respite. We are also developing our first BlockHeadZ book, featuring their humble beginnings and the inspiration behind some of the comics. And of course, new audiobooks are in production, including the non-fiction book MOVIE TRUTH: REAL ANSWERS TO REEL QUESTIONS.
There is also an output of short stories in the background that shall be collected into a new anthology in the very near future.

“How dare you treat me this way!” the Socialite scolded the creature. “Don’t you know who my father is?”
The Socialite did not care if this were an alien invasion or a problematic hotel manager. She demanded to speak with someone in charge.
“Yes, we do,” the creature replied through a translation speaker. “And may I say your self-confidence sounds delicious.”
Confused by what she assumed was a bad translation, the Socialite didn’t even see the creature lift a straw.
The last thing that went through her head – aside from realizing she greatly misjudged the situation – was that straw.
